The Texas Kidney Foundation is proud to collaborate with distinguished Texas House of Representatives members Barbara Gervin-Hawkins and Josey Garcia, the celebrated transplant recipient Mr. Reginald “Bruh Man” Ballard, known for his roles in the iconic Martin Show and Bernie Mac Shows, and the C. A. Whittier Medical Society.
Together, we are bring you a unique FREE screening of the Emmy award-winning series, Fixing Paco and Linked by Love, both series shine a light on kidney disease, transplantation, and living donation in local community.
This event is not only a chance to gain vital insights into kidney health but also an opportunity to rally around our shared values and commitment to proactive health care. We are also excited to offer specialized education on Apol1 Mediated Kidney Disease (AMKD), crucial for individuals of African, Caribbean, and Latin descent with high blood pressure, equipping our community to address kidney health proactively.
